We’ve developed a new Protect Aid Workers e-learning module - a short, practical introduction to what PAW offers and how it can complement an organisation’s existing procedures. 
The Security Council adopted a resolution emphasizing the protection of UN and humanitarian personnel, urging states to uphold international law, conduct impartial investigations into attacks, and address new challenges like disinformation. The resolution, passed with 14 votes in favor and 1 abstention, highlights the increased risks faced by humanitarian workers and calls for enhanced measures to ensure their safety and accountability.
The Protect Aid Workers mechanism was presented at the 2024 Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks. The session introduced the situations covered by the mechanism, the selection criteria, the grant application process and the partnership specificities.

The growing violence against health care in conflict zones is a serious humanitarian crisis that requires immediate global action to protect health workers and systems. The SHCC report underscores the urgency of this issue and provides a roadmap for the global community to act in defense of health care in conflict zones.
Aiming to improve the understanding of partnerships in Security Risk Management, this research paper seeks to provide insight into L/NNGOs’ security risk management cultures with their NGOs, establish a platform for L/NNGOs to share their views and enhance dialogue between international and L/NNGOs. Finally it aims to identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of support in partnerships and better mutual understanding.
